Rita Allen Foundation Performance Measurement Capacity Building

The Rita Allen Foundation was established in 1953, and most recently has focused its funding on promoting civic literacy and engagement, investing in young leaders in the sciences and social innovation, and building stronger communities. The Foundation is particularly interested in capacity building for current and potential grantees, especially in the area of performance measurement.

Impact Catalysts (through its predecessor firm, Root Cause) worked with Rita Allen Foundation to establish a cohort program for the Foundation’s current and potential grantees focused on advancing their understanding of the people, systems, and tools needed to build strong performance measurement systems and culture into their organizations. Impact Catalysts developed a curriculum for the performance measurement cohort program and supported the Foundation in its initial implementation of the program.
